Highly recommend! Called a few companies regarding an emergency burst pipe and all were unavailable except for these guys. Tony came out and had my water back on and the place cleaned up within 2 hours. Amazing!

All I can say is WOW! Daniel came as a recommendation from a friend, I changed from an old hot water service to a continuous. He explained the whole process to me, and I felt confident in choosing his service. He was very reasonably priced and did such a good job, he even left the whole area spotless. I was quoted by someone else for the same job, and was quoted almost double. I believe in giving credit where it’s due, Daniel’s workmanship is brilliant, I highly recommend his services. I’ll be using him for all future works and my house. So glad I found a reliable plumber!!

Fast Direct Plumbing were honestly a lifesaver. I contacted them after a dodgy bathroom reno left me with leaking pipes, horrible water damage and a whole lot of stress. They came out quickly, explained what was actually going on, and fixed issues the original tradies either missed or just left.

I really appreciated was organised they were! They not only sorted the plumbing, they helped line up other trades to repair the rest of the damage. I didn’t have to chase anyone, and everyone who came through was professional and easy to deal with.

The difference between them and the first company was huge. Everything is finally working the way it should, and I feel confident the job’s been done properly.

I read the reviews so decided to trust Fast Direct Plumbing. My experience was poor.
After new copper gas piping was installed (that job done correctly) I was left with a gas leak from the meter. I received texts from their own online chat system that I had a gas plumbing emergency and should evacuate. This was later blamed on a faulty chat system. I did call about the pungent smell of gas but was reassured it was just gas leaching from a pipe. When I got the texts telling me it was an emergency I went to the meter to turn off the gas. The smell was strong and a hissing sound audible. A neighbour who owns a construction business was with me at the time so can verify.
On the advice of the plumber I allowed removal of my perfectly functional dual fuel cooker. I was told it would be quicker and easier to remove it and instal a fully electric cookerthan try to connect the new gas piping. FDP made two attempts to replace my cooker but neither cooker bought by them could be installed. I eventually got a cooker but that was because I bought it and had to contribute $1000 to its purchase as they refused to fully pay, saying they had done enough for me by supplying two cookers that couln't be used. No acknowledgement that my fuctional cooker was removed on their advise. Their plumber in this instance acted well outside his knowledge and skills - something I had no way of knowing. I was relying on his expertise.
I asked for itemised invoices and was told they could not be provided. I did get them only after I had to cite the relevant section of consumer law they would be in breach of by not providing them. My initial invocies gave scope of works and a final amount but no way to see what I had paid for. After the removal of the stove and ensuing problems I was concerned so wanted to see itemised invoices.
When requesting the invoices I was told by FDP's ''director"that they arrived at their pricing by working in with The Master Plumbers Association. I had already called Master Plumbers and FDP are not members (at the time I made the call they were not) . The director told me that plumbers across Australia get together to determine fees. No response from him when I said this was not what I was told by Master Plumbers. Master Plumbers said their concern was the ablity for plumbers to determine their own fees/charges and consumers had to rely on the plumber being fair and reasonable in charges.
The final straw came for me when I was trying to arrange the replacement of my cooker. The ''director'' wrote in a text that they had gone above and beyond to meet my requests so would not fully pay to provide the cooker I wanted. I made no requests beyond asking to get back a comparable cooker. I was being offered a 54cm cooker - mine was 60cm that fitted its space. I did not want gaps either size of my cooker.
I got a lot of stress, am out of pocket an additional $1,000 to get back my cooker on top of the fee I paid them (that was significant). I paid the difference to get the cooker I wanted because it was becoming very clear that FDP were not going to take resposnibility for their own plumber giving advice he was not in the professional capacity to give that lead me to agree to have my cooker removed.
